Red Winged Blackbird

Red Winged Blackbird

The Red Winged Blackbird  (Agelaius phoeniceus)

These birds are so beautiful! The vibrant red and black accents! The songs they sing to attract partners! All while perched awkwardly on a cattail in a local wetland throughout the country. They even wander through neighborhoods singing their song before establishing their final home base to raise their young.
