Campbell’s Tomato Bisque
Campbell’s Tomato Bisque
16″ x 20″
by Lindsey Wohlman
(2014)
Inspired by Andy Warhol’s 1962 Campbell’s Soup Series. “Warhol Naked and Unlabeled” series features 32 soups documented to align with Warhol’s pop art style while looking at the product’s contents while ignoring the iconic packaging so loved and used by Warhol. You can see them at the MoMa in New York.
Not all Campbell’s Soup documented by Andy Warhol are no longer produced so I had to get a little creative. Luckily my kickstarter supporters voted on the soups they wanted included in this series. This is one of the top choices to be part of the Warhol Naked & Unlabeled series.
