The Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura) is an egregious specimen seen throughout the country. Audubon did not see many during his work, however he described it as the more graceful of the two vulture species.
Accurate representation inspired by Audubon’s print layout. Sized to match Harvell edition prints from the double elephant folio edition. Read Audubon’s journal about his encounters.
